COMMENTARY (ΜΗ)

This chapter is perfectly simple, and needs no comment whatsoever.

NOTE

(22) "The môme raths outgrabe" -- Lewis Carroll.

But "môme" is Parisian slang for a young girl, and "rathe" O.E. for early. "The rathe primrose" -- Milton.
