Going back to our chronology, as the day of the raffle drawing approached, we were hard at work getting all of our possessions organized for packing - deciding what to take and what to leave - as well as having to make the decision to take a house that we had not physically visited. As I mentioned, the Bogdanov Brothers, via their network of contacts, found the perfect house for us and Pierre-Paul made a visit to take photographs so we would have some idea of what the place looked like. This photo is the first view we had of our new home - taken in the dead of the Gascony winter:

As it turns out, the Pyrenees are not always visible because they are shrouded in clouds or mists. But, on the day Pierre-Paul visited, they showed themselves just for us, it seems.

We made the decision mostly on faith, and the packing began in earnest. The moving company brought a 40 foot shipping container and parked it in front of our house, and for three days, we did nothing but pack and load the container. As you see from the following photo, getting some items into the container - such as our ancient piano - was not precisely easy.

A couple of curious events occurred just prior to our leaving that I would like to share.

Among the things we decided to take with us was our 1986 Ford Econoline van. Since it was in such excellent mechanical condition, and the cost of transporting it was a lot cheaper than buying a vehicle in France, we took it to the mechanic to ask him to give it a thorough going over before it was shipped. This happened about a week after France had announced that they would exercise their power of veto in the United Nations vote on whether or not war was to be supported by the U.N. I told the mechanic that the van was going to France and he said to me:

"Just take my advice when you are in France: watch your back! Those Frenchies will stick it to you the first chance they get."

I was a bit startled by this comment and I realized that there must be some serious propaganda going on for such an opinion to be formed by an average "Joe Sixpack" in just about a week’s time.

The next incident was similar. We were in the midst of packing and loading the container when we received a package delivered by FedEx. In response to the driver’s question as to where we were moving, we informed him that we were going to France. He commented:

"I hope you know what you are getting yourself into. France is the enemy, you know."

I was not just dismayed at such ignorance, gullibility, and manipulation, I was shocked. What is more: if I had doubted that we were doing the right thing, these two comments would have changed my mind. I knew instantly that I did NOT want to live in a country that automatically labeled as "enemy" anyone or any country that did not support their intentions to wage war and kill innocent people for absolutely no reason.

 

What is more, after all the research the Quantum Future School had done on the subject, coming to the inevitable conclusion that Bush and his gang were somehow implicated in the 9-11 event, and realizing that it was a "manufactured attack" just for the purpose of justifying a war in an attempt to impose American Imperialism on the rest of the world, I felt only relief to be leaving a country where a large number of the citizens had given over their energy of will to this gang of criminals. Even if it is done in ignorance, even if it is done as a result of years of social manipulation, that ignorance has been chosen and each person is responsible for what is done in their name.

Now, don’t get me wrong. Saddam Hussein IS a butcher. Of that, there is no doubt. But every country has the government it deserves, and unless and until the Iraqi people decide to get rid of him on their own, as long as he isn’t threatening anybody else, Saddam Hussein is THEIR problem. I knew from our research that, in not a single instance where the United States had interfered with the government of another country, had a democracy or anything remotely resembling same, been the result.

I also realized something else from lengthy experience: if anything would unite the Iraqi people, if anything would make a "hero" or martyr out of the Butcher of Baghdad, it would be an attack on Iraq by the Planetary bully, the Butcher of Texas, George Bush. As I said: every country has the government it deserves.

So, our resolve strengthened, everyone pitched in for the packing and loading process. It took nine people three days to do it. Finally, the truck came and took away the container loaded with all our worldly goods. We were, effectively, homeless!

We still had six days before our flight left, and we spent three of them cleaning the house for the new owner. We signed all the necessary papers for the attorney handling the transfer of the house, gave him the keys, and drove away from the area that had been my home for over 40 years - and the home of our children for their entire lives.

We had rented a mini-van that we could leave off at the airport in Miami, and it was fully loaded inside and out with our four children, the dog, and twenty pieces of luggage! (We knew it was going to be awhile before our household goods arrived in France, and we had to take everything with us that we might need for this period of macrocosmic quantum change.) When we picked up the rental, we smiled to see that they had given us a "Montana." We were leaving Montana Ave. in a Montana...

We spent a couple of nights with a friend in Orlando and went shopping for winter coats at a factory outlet there. My children had never owned a real coat because life in Florida simply didn’t justify the expense for an item that might only get used once or twice a year. But we knew it was going to be cold in Paris - the destination of our flight - and a real coat was a must at our new home.

As we drove through Florida on our way to Orlando, and later to Miami, I considered the very real possibility that I might never see it again. I was busy observing everything as closely as possible to record it in my mind, and I thought that I might feel sad or "homesick in advance," but again, I felt only relief to be leaving.

 

The C’s had spent so many years preparing me to detach from 3rd density considerations and to observe reality objectively, that the only things that were uppermost in my mind were all their remarks about Nazi Germany being a "trial run" for what was to come, and that the United States was truly the "capital of STS - Service to Self" in the world in the present cycle. I was also thinking about the comments the C’s had made about Life as religion several months earlier:

A: Life is religion. Life experiences reflect how one interacts with God. Those who are asleep are those of little faith in terms of their interaction with the creation. Some people think that the world exists for them to overcome or ignore or shut out. For those individuals, the worlds will cease. They will become exactly what they give to life. They will become merely a dream in the "past." People who pay strict attention to objective reality right and left, become the reality of the "Future."

Q: (L)[As the result of an exchange with a reader]I have a few questions. ...She had said "you don’t pay attention to the confusion, you just do what you came here to do." I understood this in a completely different context. From her perspective, "paying no attention to the confusion all around and doing what you came here to do" essentially amounted to discovering the ways and means to "ascend" by overcoming and ignoring and shutting out the world. To me, "pay no attention to the confusion" means to pay close attention to what is going on, but not to be confused by it, to see the reality in the midst of the confusion. ...The important thing seems to be to not dwell on the "confusion" aspect, but to concentrate on learning the knowledge that is buried in the confusion. Trying to understand what it is you need to learn. JN’s idea was that if it causes confusion, you are supposed to shut it ALL out, pay no attention to any of it, and just concentrate on feeling peaceful. That’s the same thing Whitley Strieber was saying: "The only freedom you will have is inside yourself." ... The other thing I was thinking about is the teaching that you are supposed to withdraw into some kind of monastic life in order to grow spiritually. What I have observed is that the world is exactly what is needed to learn the lessons of existence. Anybody who thinks that, in order to be spiritual, they have to go off to a monastery, or meditate, or follow this or that so-called "spiritual practice," are turning away the greatest interaction with God and creation imaginable. They are throwing away a great gift. By living in the world, and striving to see the spirit in things, one can accomplish so much more than if they go off to a monastery where there are no distractions, no real tests of balance or seeing. It’s more religious, I think, to be in the world and be able to see and experience "spirit" than most people realize. The real world is where we fit. It is where we are born. And if we try to escape this lesson, we just come back over and over again.

(AJ) But, the question is, whether we learn to understand the world around us. Some people don’t care about understanding the world. They are effectively saying: "it’s holier to not care about the world, it’s your business - we just want to ignore it."

(L) And they become the memory of the past - primal matter - they recycle. The very fact that we ARE in this realm means that this is where we fit. And it seems that the only way to move to the next level is to grow. And that means to take full cognizance of the medium of growth, to learn about the realm, learn how to be spiritual in the realm where you are. Grow where you are planted, but always toward the light.
A: Home is where the heart is.

At the same session, my daughter had asked specifically about moving out of the country:

Q: (AM) Is it vital to my physical existence to move to another country in the near future?
A: It is not "vital" to be in the body at all. But for those with missions in this realm, it is quite useful to preserve the physical vehicle. Thus, if one accepts the mantle of responsibility to humanity, it is not a selfish thing to seek preservation until the mission is accomplished. In the present situation, that will be enhanced outside of the USA.

The C’s have repeatedly said that "knowledge protects." Many people assume that this means that all you have to do is know something or be aware of something, and you are protected. They fail to notice that the C’s also said that APPLICATION of knowledge is what "generates light."

A: Perpendicular reality is knowledge/awareness/being matrix. Realms are merely experiential divisions based upon consciousness energy directors.

Q: Now you have mentioned these ’slots.’ What are these slots, and how does one move from one slot to another?
A: Picture this: you have 7 sizes of marbles. You have 7 widths of slots. Where do the marbles "fit in."


Q: Do the marbles represent units of consciousness?
A: Close. Or, divisions of consciousness level energy resonance profiles.


Q: Do these divisions of consciousness grow and change?
A: Yes.


Q: And they grow and change through acquiring knowledge, is that correct?
A: Basically.


Q: And acquiring knowledge is akin to acquiring energy? Or light? Light energy?
A: Not exactly. That would be like saying that "filling up" at the gas station is akin to acquiring speed.


Q: So, knowledge and light are like the gas for the car, but speed comes from utilization?
A: Yes.


Q: And utilization means...
A: Knowledge application which generates energy, which, in turn, generates light.

At a certain point in time, when we were, so to say, "filling up with gas" by doing research, I was a bit antsy to "do" something.

Q: (L) In the recent past you indicated that chapter 24 of Matthew and chapter 21 of Luke, were given by Jesus after his extended sleep state. Now, both of those chapters refer to the present time as being like the days of Noah. Is that a correct assessment?

A: In a sense and individual events are as yet undetermined.

 

Q: (L) Well, the story of Noah tells us that Noah was told to build an ark.

A: Symbolic.

 

Q: (L) Yet Noah built an ark. Was it true that certain individuals, whoever they were, built boats or did things to survive that terrible cataclysm?

A: No. Look at it this way. Noah built a boat because it seemed like an enjoyable enterprise and when the flood came it came in handy, see?

 

Q: (L) So, you are saying that if we do what we do because we enjoy it that we will be in the right place at the right time, doing the right thing when whatever happens happens, right?

A: Close.

 

Q: (L) Are you saying that we will be led to do what we should be doing and be where we should be?

A: You will just fall into it but if you force things you run the risk of going astray.

Q: (A) I am trying to write down some things about a cosmology, and I have some questions mainly about the coming events. First there was the story of the sun’s companion brown star which is apparently approaching the solar system, and I would like to know, if possible, details of its orbit; that is, how far it is, what is its speed, and when it will be first seen. Can we know it? Orbit: how close will it come?

A: Flat elliptical. [...] Distance depends upon other factors, such as intersecting orbit of locator of witness.

Q: (A) I understand that this brown star will enter the Oort cloud...

(L) I think they said it just brushes against it and the gravity disturbs it...
A: Passes through Oort cloud on orbital journey. Already has done this on its way "in."

Q: (A) You mean it has already entered the Oort cloud?
A: Has passed through. ... Oort cloud is located on outer perimeter orbital plane at distance of approximately averaged distance of 510,000,000,000 miles. ...Solar system, in concert with "mother star," is revolving around companion star, a "brown" star. ...They are moving in tandem with one another along a flat, elliptical orbital plane. Outer reaches of solar system are breached by passage of brown companion, thus explaining anomalies recently discovered regarding outer planets and their moons.

Q: (A) Elliptical orbit means there is perihelion and aphelion. I want to know what will be, or what was, or what is the closest distance between this brown star and the sun? What is perihelion? Can we know this, even approximately. Is it about one light year, or less or more?
A: Less, much less. Distance of closest passage roughly corresponds to the distance of the orbit of Pluto from Sun.

Q: (A) Okay. Now, this closest pass, is this something that is going to happen?
A: Yes.

Q: (A) And it is going to happen within the next 6 to 18 years?
A: 0 to 14.

Q: (A) I have some idea about this. Now, I understand that, either by chance or by accident, two things are going to happen at essentially the same time. That is the passing of this brown star, and this comet cluster. These are two different things?
A: Yes. Different, but related.

Q: (L) Is there a comet cluster that was knocked into some kind of orbit of its own, that continues to orbit...
A: Yes.

Q: (L) And in addition to that comet cluster, there are also additional comets that are going to get whacked into the solar system by the passing of this brown star?
A: Yes.

Q: (A) I understand that the main disaster is going to come from this comet cluster...
A: Disasters involve cycles in the human experiential cycle which corresponds to the passage of comet cluster.

Q: (A) I understand that this comet cluster is cyclic and comes every 3600 years. I want to know something about the shape of this comet cluster. I can hardly imagine...
A: Shape is variable. Effect depends on closeness of passage.

Q: (A) We were asking at some point where it will be coming from. The answer was that we were supposed to look at a spirograph.
A: Yes.

Q: (A) Now, spirograph suggests that these comets will not come from one direction, but from many directions at once. Is this correct?
A: Very good!!! ...But, initial visibility presents as single, solid body.

Q: (A) Do we know what is the distance to this body at present?
A: Suggest you keep your eyes open! ...Did you catch the significance of the answer regarding time table of cluster and brown star? Human cycle mirrors cycle of catastrophe. Earth benefits in form of periodic cleansing. Time to start paying attention to the signs. They are escalating. They can even be "felt" by you and others, if you pay attention. ...

Q: (L) Well, from what you are saying about this - I mean how are we supposed to do all these things you say we are supposed to do? I mean, we won’t have time!
A: Who says?

Q: (L) That is kind of what it is sounding like. Unless our lives and experiences escalate in concert with all these other events...
A: Point is to watch, look, listen.

Q: (L) When we are watching, looking and listening, is there some particular thing we are supposed to be watching for that is to give us a clue about something?
A: All.

Q: (L) Is there something we are supposed to do at some point when we perceive a particular clue or event at some point?
A: What would you suggest?

Q: (L) I don’t know that I would suggest anything except to keep a low profile and keep on working until we figure out the answer. It is like a race against time. We have to figure out the answer because, obviously, you are not going to tell us...
A: No. No race needed.

Q: (L) Well, I sometimes feel completely inadequate for all of this.
A: Stop thinking 3rd density!

Q: (L) Well, I don’t want to just live in LaLa land and say, ’oh yes, I’m watching. I see the signs! I’m looking! I’m listening! And then count them off on my fingers and say: but I’m not gonna think about it because that’s 3rd density!’ See what I am saying here?
A: No, because you are still thinking 3rd density. Better to have a "front row seat," and enjoy!

Q: (L) But I feel like I am not supposed to be enjoying myself so much! I feel guilty!
A: Why not?

Q: (L) Well! I’m supposed to be DOING something!
A: You are.

Q: (A) When you watch, look and listen, you are getting some signals, and these signals cause a certain pattern of thinking which were not yet able to emerge, but now, after you receive certain signals, you start to think in a different way. So, you cannot now think in a different way, but when you learn this and this has happened, then you start to think in a different pattern. So, you cannot now do things, but you always have to be ready to change your thinking at any moment when you understand more, when you see more, when you notice more, when you put things together which are not yet together. Then, there may be a big change of perspective, a total change. And this we have to keep our minds and thinking patterns open and ready to change, and work and put the puzzle and mosaic together. And, this is all that counts. It is this work that we are now doing that counts, not some future big thing: oh! Now we go on a ship! No, it is only doing our best, and what is it? Our best? It will change. I believe so. That is the idea. So, everything depends on this.
A: Yes. You see, my dear, you cannot anticipate that which is not anticipatable.

Before the C’s, I would never - in my wildest dreams - have been able to walk away from every familiar thing, my home and life, and, with children in tow, go on an adventure at my age - 51. What seems to be true is that the events of 9-11 were one of those signals that changed all our thinking. It was one thing for the C’s to give us a "view of the unseen reality," and quite another to see it playing out on the grand stage of the planet. I couldn’t shake from my mind some things the C’s had said when Ark first came to America:

Q: (L) Ok, we have several things that we discussed earlier, is there anything you wish to say before we launch into questions?
A: Underground bases see dramatic budget increase.

Q: (L) Ok, why do they have a budget increase?
A: Because there is much more activity to come.

Q: (L) Ok, what kind of activity?
A: Broad range. ... Experimentation, utilization and implementation.

Q: (L) Of what?
A: Human "resources." Plan falling into place for "harvest."

Q: (T) The new underground bases, along with all the old ones are for the coming harvest?
A: And other purposes of STS forces’ plans. ...

Q: (L) Ok, now you say the plans are falling into place. What specific events of the past, say, several weeks, or months, whatever period of time set aside, are these plans that are falling into place? I mean, what’s the key in the lock?
A: Have you been paying attention, as we have always suggested you should? ... V__ mentioned the weather. Was that a bit "nippy" for you in central Europe in December and January, Arkadiusz? ... Climate is being influenced by three factors, and soon a fourth. ...

1) Wave approach.

2) Chloroflorocarbon increase in atmosphere, thus affecting ozone layer.

3) Change in the planet’s axis rotation orientation.

4) Artificial tampering by 3rd and 4th density STS forces in a number of different ways.

Be vigilant. Be observant. Be cautious in your planning and be aware. Do not let emotional anomalies cloud your knowledge base. This is not a "time" to let one’s guard down. Be especially careful of travel to unfamiliar locators, as well as sleeping in unfamiliar surroundings!!! You are being watched. Or, at least, it is best to assume you are, and act, think, and prepare accordingly. Remember what you have been warned about concerning attack. As you learn more and know more, you become more interesting... and, when your ranks swell, you are more vulnerable unless you are more aware!! ...

As we observed the events following 9-11, we realized that what the C’s had said about future events was happening NOW! It was no longer in the realm of "interesting speculation." What was even more important was the fact that their warning: "You are being watched. Or, at least, it is best to assume you are, and act, think, and prepare accordingly..." - in light of the obvious activation of the "plan falling into place for harvest" - had emerged as a most important consideration.

Like everyone else who is "awake and aware," I shake my head daily in amazement at how quickly George Bush and his "operators" have destabilized the entire planet. But what amazes me even more is how "asleep" most of the population is and how accurate the C’s have been in their descriptions of what is actually going on.

Q: (T) Ok, let’s go back to the beginning of the session, when we were talking about the acceleration/expansion on underground bases in preparation for the harvest. Is that world-wide, we’re talking here?
A: Yes, but United States is focus, due to particularly cooperative power structure profile.

Q: ... (L) What I would like to know is what particular steps are being taken, what particular activities are being stepped up?
A: Acquisition, staging, testing of planned activity.

Q: (L) And what is the planned activity?
A: Control of absolutely everything.

Q: (L) Well, swell!

(T) That’s the one world government! That’s what they want!

(L) OK, is there anything in particular that we can do to...
A: Knowledge protects, ignorance endangers. Awareness makes you less vulnerable, both directly and indirectly.

Well, it was pretty obvious that awareness of what is going on, making plans, "acting, thinking, and preparing accordingly," might definitely include changing our locator on the planet. Until 9-11, that eventuality had not been seriously considered. What was even scarier to me - as the mother of five children - was the fact that, if the C’s were right about what we COULD see, could they be right about what we did NOT see?

 

C’s: Here is something for you to digest: Why is it that your scientists have overlooked the obvious when they insist that alien beings cannot travel to earth from a distant system???

Q: And what is this obvious thing?
A: Even if speed of light travel, or "faster," were not possible, and it is, of course, there is no reason why an alien race could not construct a space "ark," living for many generations on it. They could travel great distances through time and space, looking for a suitable world for conquest. Upon finding such, they could then install this ark in a distant orbit, build bases upon various solid planes in that solar system, and proceed to patiently manipulate the chosen civilizations to develop a suitable technological infrastructure. And then, after the instituting of a long, slow, and grand mind programming project, simply step in and take it over once the situation was suitable.

Q: Is this, in fact, what has happened, or is happening?
A: It could well be, and maybe now it is the time for you to learn about the details.

Q: Well, would such a race be 3rd or 4th density in orientation?
A: Why not elements of both?

Q: What is the most likely place that such a race would have originated from?
A: Oh, maybe Orion, for example?

Q: Okay. If such a race did, in fact, travel to this location in space/time, how many generations have come and gone on their space ark during this period of travel, assuming, of course, that such a thing has happened?
A: Maybe 12.

Q: Okay, that implies that they have rather extended life spans...
A: Yes...

Q: Assuming this to be the case, what are their lifespans?
A: 2,000 of your years.

Q: Okay, assuming such a bunch have traveled...
A: When in space, that is...

Q: And what is the span when on terra firma?
A: 800 years.

Q: Well, has it not occurred to them that staying in space might not be better?
A: No. Planets are much more "comfortable."

Q: Okay... imagining that such a group has traveled here...
A: We told you of upcoming conflicts... Maybe we meant the same as your Bible, and other references. Speak of... The "final" battle between "good and evil..." Sounds a bit cosmic, when you think of it, does it not?

Q: Does this mean that there is more than one group that has traveled here in their space arks?
A: Could well be another approaching, as well as "reinforcements" for either/or, as well as non-involved, but interested observers of various types who appreciate history from the sidelines.

Q: Well, SWELL! There goes my peaceful life!
A: You never had one!

Q: Well, I was planning on one! ...
A: You chose to be incarnated now, with some foreknowledge of what was to come. Reference your dreams of space attack.

Q: Okay, what racial types are we talking about relating to these hypothetical aliens?
A: Three basic constructs. Nordic, Reptilian, and Greys. Many variations of type 3, and 3 variations of type 1 and 2.

Q: Well, what racial types are the ’good guys?’
A: Nordics, in affiliation with 6th density "guides."

Q: And that’s the only good guys?
A: That’s all you need.

Q: Wonderful! So, if it is a Grey or Lizzie, you know they aren’t the nice guys. But, if it is tall and blond, you need to ask questions! ...

Q: Maybe we ought to get in touch with some of these good guys...
A: When the "time" is right. ...Just pay attention to the signs, please! It is not helpful to place yourself in a vacuum of awareness.

Q: I don’t think I am in a vacuum of awareness. Now, this Jason Dunlap is printing a lot of stuff that reminds me of the Hale Bopp incident. There is a lot being said about the sightings out in the SouthWest area. They are saying that this is the ’new’ imminent invasion or mass landing. Can you comment on this activity?
A: Prelude to the biggest "flap" ever.

Q: And where will this flap be located?
A: Earth.

Q: When is it going to begin?
A: Starting already.

Q: Is this biggest flap going to be just a flap, or is it going to be an invasion?
A: Not yet.

Q: Not an invasion?
A: Yes.

Q: So, it will just be inciting people to frenzies of speculation...
A: Invasion happens when programming is complete...

Q: What programming?
A: See Bible, "Lucid" book, Matrix Material, "Bringers of the Dawn," and many other sources, then cross reference...

Q: Well, if something is fairly imminent, we are not going to have time to do all the things you have suggested that we do!
A: Yes you will, most likely.

Q: Well, we are supposed to build a pool, a maze, a psychomantium, to build a database, get a Nobel Prize... a LOT of things in the works here.... This just sort of takes the heart right out of me!
A: Not so!

Q: Well, are we going to have time to do all these things?
A: All these things were suggested for this reason, among others.

Q: So, all the things you have suggested are to get us ready for this event?
A: Yes.

Q: Well, we better get moving! We don’t have time to mess around!
A: You will proceed as needed, you cannot force these events or alter the Grand Destiny.

Q: I do NOT like the sound of that! I want to go home!
A: The alternative is less appetizing.

Q: Sure! I don’t want to be lunch!
A: Reincarnation on a 3rd density earth as a "cave person" amidst rubble and a glowing red sky, as the perpetual cold wind whistles...

Q: Why is the sky glowing red?
A: Contemplate.

Q: Of course! Comet dust! Sure, everybody knows THAT! Wonderful!!! Anything further?
A: Stay tuned for all pertinent information.

At the point in time when the above exchange took place - 1997 - such remarks were completely out of my range of contemplation. In the present day and time, they are far more real and compelling. There is, in fact, to anyone paying close attention, a very real possibility that George Bush - or his replacement - will ignite a Global Holocaust that will make Nazi Germany look like just a rehearsal - exactly as the C’s have said it was.

But, we have to keep it in perspective. In reality, as the C’s have said, at the highest levels of power on this planet, the idea of one country against another doesn’t really exist. It is all a drama created for our third density minds. As the C’s pointed out in August of last year (2002):

A: White House knows little of what transpires in any case.

Q: (A) Right. But there are other spy satellites; some other countries may know that this story with flight 77 crashing at the Pentagon is...
A: At those levels, there is only one "Master."

Q: (L) Those levels? What levels?
A: Levels that can hand down orders to bury or suppress.

Q: (L) So you’re saying that even, for example French, Russian, Chinese satellites that might have noticed something, that there is some level of control that can order such information to be buried or suppressed...

(A) And the order will be respected? Why?
A: Those who are at that level have been bought and paid for by both giving knowledge of upcoming cataclysmic vents, and promised survival and positions of power after. It is not difficult to realize the there is a body of such types in positions of power already. Power is not only attractive to such types, they are the kind most easily corrupted by it.

Q: (SB) So they’ve been bought and paid for by...

(L) Telling them what’s going to happen, telling them this is the only way to survive and that they will be helped to survive. And then, telling them that once it’s all over with, they can be in charge.

What seems to be true is that the most powerful people on this planet do not recognize artificial political boundaries. Woodrow Wilson wrote as early as 1913:

"Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the field of commerce and manufacture, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it."

These are the individuals who exist at the top of the pyramid of power and control of our reality. What is more, they have gone to great extremes to conceal their existence and abilities to control us from us!

If the C’s are correct - and so far, their descriptions of our reality have proven correct time and again - above the "human" controllers of our reality are 4th density beings, who truly may not be indigenous to this world. This means that their energy requirements may be quite different. Star Trek may be "real" already.

If that is the case, if what the C’s have presented to us is correct, this means that when the 4th density STS beings need to consume a large amount of energy, they simply manipulate their "human puppets," the top echelon, NWO/Illuminati/Secret Societies - which we now know to be Organic Portals for the most part - as the vectors through which this suffering is generated in order to create a circumstance that will provide them with "enhanced human pain and suffering," such as a war, for example.

 

The knowledge of Organic Portals is crucial to fully understanding this activity and we were very fortunate in the fact that we were led through "attack grad school" in the early stages of the 9-11 debacle so that we could develop a better understanding of what is taking place on a global scale. Our experiences that led to the writing of the Adventures series, and our research on psychopathy, gave us a direct lesson in Organic Portals. It enhanced our understanding of the C’s comments above, most particularly:

A: We told you of upcoming conflicts... Maybe we meant the same as your Bible, and other references. Speak of... The "final" battle between "good and evil..." Sounds a bit cosmic, when you think of it, does it not?

As we discovered in the work of Boris Mouravieff, this final conflict is actually between two races of human beings - and this has nothing to do with color or ethnicity either! And it seems to be taking place between individuals as well as nations.

The C’s have also commented on warfare:

A: Warfare has many "uses."

Q: (L) Could you list for us some of the most common uses of warfare?
A: Generation of environment to facilitate inconspicuous replacement of gene pool. Factors in paradigm shift through stimulation of conception activity, replacement of key personnel according to frequency vibration pre-readings... Creates "environment" for unnoticed genetic modifications because of greatly heightened exchange of both physical and ethereal factors.

Q: (L) What do you mean by "replacement of key personnel?" Key personnel according to whose definition?
A: 4th density STS.

Q: (L) Are these key personnel human?
A: Yes.

Q: (L) When you say replacement, do you mean something as simple as someone dying, such as a head of state, and being replaced by another person who comes to power? That would be the simplest scenario that would fit this explanation.
A: Your scenario is not simple.

Q: (L) I mean simple in terms of the machinations...
A: Both.

Most human beings are often so confused by "politics" or "world affairs," that they simply accept the guidance and explanations of their leaders that what is being done is "for their good." There is a reason for this confusion, of course, and that is the social and cultural manipulations of said leaders who, utilizing Machiavellian tactics, make sure that their agendas are concealed. As Richard Dolan has written:

Anyone who has lived in a repressive society knows that official manipulation of the truth occurs daily. But societies have their many and their few. In all times and all places, it is the few who rule, and the few who exert dominant influence over what we may call official culture. - All elites take care to manipulate public information to maintain existing structures of power. It’s an old game. [...]

 

The secrecy stems from a pervasive and fundamental element of life in our world, that those who are at the top of the heap will always take whatever steps are necessary to maintain the status quo. [...]

 

This is a widespread phenomenon affecting many people, generating high levels of interest, taking place in near-complete secrecy, for purposes unknown, by agencies unknown, with access to incredible resources and technology. A sobering thought and cause for reflection.

The C’s information has provided a model that has stood the test of research, time and events. No other model that we have ever encountered explains so much, so well, and with "repeatable results." And yes, we know it is a much bigger picture than human beings are accustomed to considering, and it is certainly unconventional from any perspective. But, if one is observing reality keenly, researching for answers diligently, and putting the scattered pieces of the puzzle together - with the information about the "hidden realities" from the C’s enable us to replace some of our question marks with exclamation points.

At this particular point in our known history, the United States is the world’s greatest Empire. Indeed, throughout history, Empires have risen and fallen as the "Secret Games of the Gods" are played. The STS entities of higher densities play their games, win and lose, and this means that their negative energy consumption portals shift from place to place. There is another reason for this as well: it serves to keep most of the human beings ignorant of what is going on through confusion and disinformation.

The German Empire took over the British Empire which morphed into the American empire. Not many people can see the connection there, but close and careful scrutiny of the facts always lead us to the most obvious connection there: at the Illuminati/NWO level, these three entities are really just divisions of the same whole. In WW II, Germany played the role of "bad cop," and this time around it is Great Britain and the U.S. This explains why the UK government is fully engaged in the current action against Iraq, despite most of its population being vehemently against it. What is also interesting to note is the "good cop" role of Germany in this round of the game. The people can only be duped so much, so long, and the German people aren’t in the mood to be the game pieces this time around. Neither are the French - but actually, they are a special case which we will discuss further on.

For now, the important point is that, when one examines the larger reality, when one expands one’s dictionary - even if there is no "proof" that would be considered acceptable to our society - the standards for which have been set up by the controllers to exclude the evidence of what they are really up to - when one considers all of it with an open mind, then it does, indeed, begin to make sense. In short, we are not at the top of the food chain.

I have to emphasize the "no proof" part. We are doing what we are doing based on clues, on knowledge, on making connections, on learning "the program" and then "plugging it it." With that idea in mind, let’s look at another exchange with the C’s that has important applications to the global situation, and I have highlighted certain statements that struck me as we pondered what to do after 9-11:

Q: Reading through the session of May 23, last year, when Tom was also here, and the issue of his being in O’Brien was addressed, you asked who had begged him to stay there, then there was a remark about an EM vector. The way I understood it is that a person can be an EM vector. Is that possible?
A: Vector means focuser of direction.

Q: Could that mean that EM waves can be vectored by a human being simply by their presence? I also noticed that several of us have been involved with persons and relationships that seem designed to confuse, defuse, and otherwise distort our learning, as well as drain our energy. Basically, keeping us so stressed that we cannot fulfill our potential. Is there some significance to this observation?
A: That is elementary, my dear Knight!

Q: One of the things I have learned is that these individuals seem to attach via some sort of psychic hook that enters through our reactions of pity. Can you comment on the nature of pity?
A: Pity those who pity.

Q: But, the ones who are being pitied, who generate sensations of pity, do not really pity anybody but themselves.
A: Yes...?

Q: Then, is it true as my son said, when you give pity, when you send love and light to those in darkness, or those who complain and want to be "saved" without effort on their own part, when you are kind in the face of abuse and manipulation, that you essentially are giving power to their further disintegration, or contraction into self-ishness? That you are powering their descent into STS?
A: You know the answer!

Q: Yes. I have seen it over and over again. Were the individuals in our lives selected for the extremely subtle nature of their abilities to evoke pity, or were we programmed to respond to pity so that we were blind to something that was obvious to other people?
A: Neither. You were selected to interact with those who would trigger a hypnotic response that would ultimately lead to a drain of energy.

Q: (L) What is the purpose of this draining of energy?
A: What do you think?

Q: (T) So you can’t concentrate or do anything. You can’t get anywhere with anything.
A: Or, at least not the important things.

Q: (T) Is that why my concentration is so low?
A: Yes. ... You are dealing with a no-win situation!! ... As you know.

Q: (T) Is it the area or the person?
A: Both. One is wrapped within the other.

Q: (L) Why is it that it seems to be one of the primary things about us that prevents us from acting against such situations, is our fear of hurting another person? That was the chief thing that kept me in my marriage for so long. And, only when I knew that it was hurting the kids more to stay, did I have the power to get out. Why are we so afraid of hurting someone’s feelings if they are hurting us?
A: Not correct concept. You do not need to "act against them," you need to act in favor of your destiny.

Q: But, when you do that, these persons make you so completely miserable that there seems to be no other choice but a parting of the ways.
A: Yes, but that is not "acting against." Quite the contrary. In fact, remember, it takes two to tango, and if you are both tangoing when the dance hall bursts into flames, you both get burned!!!

Q: Why is it that when one try to extricate from such a "tango," why is there is such violent resistance to letting you go when it is obvious, clearly obvious, that they do not have any feeling for you as a human being?
A: It is not "they." We are talking about conduits of attack.

Q: What is it that makes them susceptible to becoming conduits of attack?
A: All STS are candidates for this. There are only about 6 billion of you though.

Q: (L) Would just coming down and working with us on Saturdays, on a regular basis, help him to get his concentration back?
A: Making the necessary changes would.

Q: Is it true that being in the presence of such people, that one is under the influence of an energy, an emanation from them physically, that befuddles the mind and makes it almost impossible to think ones’ way out of the situation?
A: It is the draining of energy that befuddles the mind.

Q: Where does this energy drain to?
A: 4th density STS.

 

Q: They drain our energy from us and 4th density STS harvests it from them?
A: "They" do nothing!!!! 4th density STS does it all through them!

Q: (T) Well, I would like to know what is it in us that makes us attracted to such people.

A: It was the idea of 4th density STS.

 

Q: That means that they can control your thoughts and emotions, put ideas into your head, and you think it is a good idea to "save" someone. You don’t know. It is taught in our religions and culture to give until it hurts, and, in fact, to give because it hurts. The whole situation is designed and controlled from another level. Any further comment on this subject?
A: Once you have truly learned the program, just plug it in. ...We mean that all you have to do is learn the patterns of behavior, the subtle signs, and you will always have the ability of avoiding it. Your own as well as others.

Q: (T) But, I should have learned it from H. I did the same thing twice.
A: The signs were present, but you did not read them. ...[You] did not yet know the program. ...

Lesson number 1: Always expect attack.

Lesson number 2: Know the modes of same.

Lesson number 3: Know how to counteract same. ...

When you are under attack, expect the unexpected, if it is going to cause problems... But, if you expect it, you learn how to "head it off," thus neutralizing it. This is called vigilance, which is rooted in knowledge. ...The block is a lack of faith in the concept. Remember, when one has been indoctrinated by religion, culture and/or science, they are predisposed to view all things in the sense of the measurable physical reality exclusively.... [One must be] cured of [a] lack of faith in the reality of non-physical attack.

The bottom line is this: knowing about "non-physical" things, including attack etc, is useless unless one also knows when and how to ACT. Action is application of knowledge which generates LIGHT. And in this sense, the following exchange is important to remember.

Q: (L) Well what seems to be so is that right here and now the planet is really kind of in deep doo-doo. We have a drunk at the wheel of the planet and nobody seems to be big enough or brave enough to really tell him he’s drunk and take the keys away from him. On top of that, we have a lot of people, of course, who choose to think that drunks drive better when they’re drunk. I mean there are people who subscribe to that idea and there are others who really want to get out. I know the C’s have always said sit back and enjoy the show. I guess it’s going to be pretty dramatic. Is there a positive aspect to any of this?
A: We have mentioned transducing of energies by groups. We have mentioned "help" to certain groups. You speak regularly about "butterflies and hurricanes." If you are patient and persistent, it will pay off in a way you cannot even conceive of at this point.

The question became: how long can we continue to work in the Fascist political climate of the U.S.? As we already knew:

You are being watched. Or, at least, it is best to assume you are, and act, think, and prepare accordingly. Remember what you have been warned about concerning attack. As you learn more and know more, you become more interesting... and, when your ranks swell, you are more vulnerable unless you are more aware!!

How to "act, think, and prepare accordingly?" How to do it based on the clues? How to "read the signs" of the "program," and "plug it in" and "head off" the attack?

The question always arose: are we exaggerating the dangers? Well, only time will tell on that one, but my answer is: NO. Based on what the C’s have said, research and historical comparisons, America is definitely following the pattern of Nazi Germany. And, as has been said often enough: those who forget history are doomed to repeat it. Jim Marrs, author of the L.U.C.I.D. book mentioned above by the C’s has written:

Is there precedence in history for what is happening to America today? So much so that there is not enough space to present it all.

 

Nero burned Rome, blamed it on his enemies and took dictatorial power. But consider what happened just last century. On February 27, 1933, the German Reichstag or Parliament was destroyed by fire. Hitler and his Nazis blamed the destruction on communist terrorists. They even caught one, a retarded Dutch youth named Marinus van der Lubbe who carried a Communist Party card. After some time in custody, the youth confessed to being the arsonist. However, later investigation found that one person could not have started the mammoth blaze and that incendiaries had been carried into the building through a tunnel which led to the offices of Hitler’s closest partner, Hermann Goering.

Less than a month later, on March 24, 1933, at Hitler’s urging, a panicky German Parliament voted 441 to 94 to pass an “Enabling Act” which was the starting point for Hitler’s dictatorship. As a result of this act, Germans soon saw gun confiscation, national identity cards, racial profiling, a national security chief (Heinrich Himmler) and later, mass murders and incarcerations in concentration camps.

One of the western leaders who supported Hitler and his policies was Prescott Bush, grandfather of President George W. Bush. He must have taken notice of Hitler’s method for gaining unwarranted power.

Since the Reichstag fire, the Bush family and their associates in the Council on Foreign Relations, Trilateral Commission and Bilderbergers have often mimicked Hitler’s tactics of creating a problem, offering a draconian solution and advancing their agenda through any resulting compromise.

The real enemy is whoever is behind the Sept. 11 terror attack. Osama bin Laden, so closely connected to the financial interests of the Bush family and the CIA, may be the mastermind or he may be a convenient scapegoat, yet another provocation to stampeded Americans into another war for oil.

We must thoughtfully consider where the real source of terror lies - with one bearded fanatic in an impoverished Middle Eastern country or with those who would profit while shredding the US Constitution in the name of defending freedom.

I would say that is sufficient data about the current "program" to be able to plug it in and figure out what to do.

So, all of these ideas were in my mind as we drove through the countryside I was born in and in which I spent my entire life, all the while realizing that I may never see it again.

After hearing a number of "horror stories" about airports we were, naturally, uncertain what to expect. I can tell you that my final memory of the United States consists in having to stand in line with our four children, 20 pieces of luggage, and our puppy in his crate, for over FOUR HOURS, to be subjected to extensive searches of our personal belongings. That’s not about terrorists, its about getting people used to Draconian controls and making them think it is normal and "for their protection."

Finally, we were on the plane, destination: Paris. I had NO idea what to expect. I could only feel relief that we were on our way, that we had friends to meet us, and that an uncertain future awaited us. But an uncertain future was preferable to the certainty of what is going to happen in the United States, judging by the Signs...

 


 Part 4
April 1, 2003

As I mentioned in the previous post, my last memory of the U.S. is standing in line for four hours to have our personal possessions searched, our luggage wiped with little pads that were then subjected to some sort of chemical analysis, and everything sent through some sort of scanning device. What truly amazed me was the fact that no one seemed to be questioning this. When I say "amazed," I am just speaking metaphorically - suggesting a certain internal sensation of mild horror - and do not, of course, mean surprised. I have watched the changes in America since the Shrub and his brother Jeb fixed and stole the election and nothing surprises me anymore.

 

But it still horrifies me in a certain sense, because I can see where it is leading, and I grieve for all the suffering of America in the future. I am, after all, an American. And like that other great American, Abraham Lincoln, with whom I feel a strong affinity - perhaps because I was born on his birthday, February 12 - I believe that,

"This country, with its institutions, belongs to the people who inhabit it. Whenever they shall grow weary of the existing government, they can exercise their constitutional right of amending it, or their revolutionary right to dismember or overthrow it."

A couple of days ago, Garrett Epps wrote an op-ed piece for the Oregonian which said in part:

It was an important off-year election. In a tried-and-true tactic, the incumbent attacked his liberal challenger as unpatriotic. During a controversial war, the challenger had "taken the side of the common enemy in time of war against his own country."

Two years later, the "unpatriotic" candidate became president -- the greatest we’ve ever had. And yet, back in 1846 and 1847, when President James K. Polk led the United States into war with Mexico, Abraham Lincoln bitterly attacked the war. "The blood of this war, like the blood of Abel, is crying to Heaven against (Polk)," Lincoln said. As a member of Congress, he voted for a resolution attacking the war as "unnecessarily and unconstitutionally begun by the President of the United States." [...]

 

Every American war has produced dissent. Sometimes dissenters are right. During the Mexican War, Lincoln’s criticism was echoed by Henry David Thoreau, (who went to jail for resisting war taxation), Ralph Waldo Emerson and former President John Quincy Adams, the Jimmy Carter of his day. The war was a disaster for our country.

And, to quote a member of the Quantum Future School,

"I am totally amazed at the blindness of the sheeple and how each passing day entrenches them more in their blindness."

Not only are the people blind, but they are being led by a blind man, and, as the old saying goes, when the blind lead the blind, they both fall into the pit.

So there we were, standing in line in the Miami airport, living a scene right out of Nazi Germany and, unlike most of the others in the line, we knew it. Needless to say, I had some hostile feelings toward Bush even though I know he is only a puppet and hardly deserving of any ire whatsoever.

When I was a teenager, groups of us used to go to the Tampa airport just to hang out and watch the planes take off and land, watch the interesting passengers coming and going, eat at the snack bars and restaurants there, and generally participate in "Americana." All of that is gone. All of the freedoms that we felt that we enjoyed as Americans are gone. Our privacy is gone. Our freedom to speak our minds is effectively gone. Our freedom to feel safe in our homes is gone.

 

And it most definitely has not been taken away from us by Osama bin Laden or Saddam Hussein. No, regardless of who or what was behind the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York, our freedoms have been taken away by our own government, exactly as it was done in Germany when Adolf Hitler used the "threat" from Communism as the excuse for instituting draconian social controls. And those who forget history are doomed to repeat it.

As I stood there, watching the proceedings in the Miami airport, I thought back to the days of my childhood when America was loved and admired by one and all; when being an American opened arms and doors and opportunities; when being an American symbolized all that was right and good about life and humanity; when being an American meant all those important things that were now gone... like the simple pleasure of hanging out in an airport to have a little Saturday night fun.

Of course, what I didn’t know when I was a kid was all the machinations and manipulations that were going on in the "Secret State" that have - step by step - led to the overt take-over of America, a virtual coup d’etat by a gang of thugs. I didn’t know that American secret services were already waging an underground war to make their move to take over the planet at some point. At that point in time, all I knew was what I experienced, and the illusion of Freedom and Democracy was still in place.

I used to love American airports. Now it had become a place of dread. There was no more fun; there is no more freedom. The truth is, America - the America I loved - even if it was an illusion - is gone. And I don’t think it will ever return. And neither will I.

But, I digress.

We finally made it onto the plane, found our places, and settled in for the long overnight flight. We had friends waiting for us in Paris, appointments to keep, and, of course, the worry about French customs which we had been warned about by everyone who saw our departure as a big mistake. I was preparing myself mentally and emotionally...

I awoke in my seat just shortly before we landed and, looking down from the window, caught my first glimpse of France - looking for all the world like a magical, fairy landscape. I was enchanted. But the worries about French customs soon overtook my thoughts. The main focus of these worries was our dog.

We had gone to a lot of trouble to make sure that our dog had all the right shots and papers and I was very nervous to think that the vet at CDG airport might not pass him for some technical reason. After all, with America behaving toward France as it is, it would be understandable if the French were a little testy and might just "squeeze" the regulations a bit tighter to give Americans a hard time.

I want to describe for you our experience with the dreaded French customs: they looked at our passports and made sure we matched our photos, handed them back with a smile, and waved. We stood there for a moment wondering what was coming next: a strip search, electronic scanners, anti-bomb devices??? And then it sank in: that was it. We were done. They were waving to tell us "bon journey!" or "have a good time!"

I was stunned. We had just left America: land of the free and home of the brave - greatest democratic nation on earth - and everyone there is living in terror. You can’t even go to an airport without practically being strip searched. Here we were in France, what was being called "Old Europe" as though it were a derogatory term, and it felt exactly like America USED to feel in the 1950s.

This comparison was to come up again and again. The freedoms in France, the attitudes in France, the people in France remind me so much of America when it was the loved and honored leader of the Free World - even if that Freedom was fast being undermined as Eisenhower, president when I was born, pointed out:

[... ]We face a hostile ideology global in scope, atheistic in character, ruthless in purpose, and insidious in method. Unhappily the danger it poses promises to be of indefinite duration. To meet it successfully, there is called for, not so much the emotional and transitory sacrifices of crisis, but rather those which enable us to carry forward steadily, surely, and without complaint the burdens of a prolonged and complex struggle – with liberty the stake. [...]

 

[T]hreats, new in kind or degree, constantly arise. Of these, I mention two only.

[Here we notice that Ike prefaces his naming of the two threats to liberty with the explanation for their existence]

A vital element in keeping the peace is our military establishment. Our arms must be mighty, ready for instant action, so that no potential aggressor may be tempted to risk his own destruction. Our military organization today bears little relation to that known by any of my predecessors in peacetime, or indeed by the fighting men of World War II or Korea.

Until the latest of our world conflicts, the United States had no armaments industry. American makers of plowshares could, with time and as required, make swords as well. But now we can no longer risk emergency improvisation of national defense; we have been compelled to create a permanent armaments industry of vast proportions. Added to this, three and a half million men and women are directly engaged in the defense establishment. We annually spend on military security more than the net income of all United States corporations.

[So, Ike has named the two threats to liberty: the permanent armaments industry and the defense establishment.]

This conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. The total influence – economic, political, even spiritual – is felt in every city, every Statehouse, every office of the Federal government. We recognize the imperative need for this development. Yet we must not fail to comprehend its grave implications. Our toil, resources and livelihood are all involved; so is the very structure of our society.

[And here Ike gives his warning - a warning that was not heeded, and America is now reaping the whirlwind...]

In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.

We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together.

Akin to, and largely responsible for the sweeping changes in our industrial-military posture, has been the technological revolution during recent decades.

In this revolution, research has become central, it also becomes more formalized, complex, and costly. A steadily increasing share is conducted for, by, or at the direction of, the Federal government.

Today, the solitary inventor, tinkering in his shop, has been overshadowed by task forces of scientists in laboratories and testing fields. In the same fashion, the free university, historically the fountainhead of free ideas and scientific discovery, has experienced a revolution in the conduct of research. Partly because of the huge costs involved, a government contract becomes virtually a substitute for intellectual curiosity. For every old blackboard there are now hundreds of new electronic computers.

The prospect of domination of the nation’s scholars by Federal employment, project allocations, and the power of money is ever present – and is gravely to be regarded.

Yet, in holding scientific research and discovery in respect, as we should, we must also be alert to the equal and opposite danger that public policy could itself become the captive of a scientific-technological elite. [...]

Disarmament, with mutual honor and confidence, is a continuing imperative. Together we must learn how to compose differences, not with arms, but with intellect and decent purpose. Because this need is so sharp and apparent I confess that I lay down my official responsibilities in this field with a definite sense of disappointment. As one who has witnessed the horror and the lingering sadness of war – as one who knows that another war could utterly destroy this civilization which has been so slowly and painfully built over thousands of years – I wish I could say tonight that a lasting peace is in sight.

The terrible truth is: America is no longer the leader of the Free World. In fact, I am not sure it ever was.

But again, I digress. Our friends had made hotel reservations for us and, after settling into our hotel, feeding and walking the dog, (who apparently liked his plane ride better than he liked riding in the car), we all climbed into taxis and set off for the Bogdanov’s for dinner.

It was cold and rainy in Paris, with the wind whipping down from the North. Everywhere I looked I saw something that I had formerly seen only in books and I wondered what the city must have been like in Medieval times when the weather was like this.

Now, the reader ought to keep in mind that I have never really traveled much, so my opinions are those of a mental traveler. Having said that, however, it seems to me that no city could be more exciting and beautiful than Paris. I have heard that Parisians, especially, do not like Americans. I don’t know if that is true, and we certainly did not experience any such attitude. But, if there is any truth to it, I suspect I know why: it might be because Americans claim that America is "superior" while Paris really IS!

Our Taxi drivers sped through Paris traffic to a marvelous district of narrow streets fronted by elegant, old buildings. The place where we got out seemed like it was in a time warp because there was no traffic and everything was enveloped in a dense fog. The whole neighborhood looked like it was right out of a movie set. I expected to see Sherlock Holmes at any moment!

We stood on the wet sidewalk contemplating the enormous door knocker and were preparing to employ it when the sound of sharp footsteps approached through the mist. Amysterious, tall, dark figure in a black trench coat, emerged from the fog and came striding toward us, his heels clicking smartly on the stone. As he passed the streetlamp and approached us purposefully, his shadow lengthened in front of him and the light made a halo of his long flowing hair. Scenes from various movies flashed through my mind and the hair on the back of my neck stood up. But, as he got close enough for us to see his face and big smile, we realized that it was Grichka Bogdanov arriving for dinner with us at his brother - Igor’s - apartment.

We passed through the monumental doorway together, happy to finally meet after so many months of intense correspondence, and talking all at once. Igor and Grichka took our coats and hung them away; we were introduced to a beautiful and charming friend of the Bogdanov’s - a princess of a European royal family - who was there to meet us; and all talking ceased upon being led into Igor’s living room.

I think I mentioned that the Bogdanovs own a marvelous, ancient chateau just a few kilometers north of our present house. Their grandmother, Countess Berthie von Colloredo-Mansfeld (born countess von Kolowratt) bought a fortress (in 1927) in a little village called Saint-Lary. Grichka and Igor were raised in this huge medieval chateau. Later, this chateau was sold and the family purchased Esclignac. Their father, Prince Youri Michaelovich Bogdanoff (who escaped from Russia when he vas 11, in 1942, with the help of Grande Duchess Leonida of Russia), lives in the aforementioned Esclignac - below image.

The fortress of Esclignac (towers, donjon, chapel, etc.) is one of the very rare "Duchys" that was created by the king Louis XVI in 1787, 2 years before revolution. But even before that, Esclignac’s history goes back to Cathar times.

Nevertheless, what took our breath away upon entering Igor’s living room was the fact that the atmosphere of an ancient chateau had been re-created in Igor’s apartment. An enormous - undoubtedly priceless - Flemish tapestry hung on one wall, and all the furnishings were medieval, probably "brought from home." When time came to "go down for dinner," that is exactly what we did: down a circular stone staircase into a room that had all the makings of a tower room in a castle. It truly was like a movie or a fairytale!

Dinner was a wonderful chicken and rice dish followed by an apple crumble prepared by the Princess’ own hands. After being regaled by the story of the search for the "right apples" for this pastry, I knew that here was a woman who knew her apples the way I knew my peaches and oranges!

The conversation at table went on fast and furious for several hours. Several bottles of wine came and went, a wonderful cheese disappeared, and Grichka went out for more bread at one point. Thankfully, there are boulangeries open in Paris until late at night, unlike here in the country where everything is closed at 8 o’clock, or even earlier. (We make sure to stock up on the wonderful French bread early here so we won’t run out!)

After multiple double kisses on the cheek, hugs all around, and commitments to our work in the future, Igor and Grichka escorted us to our taxis and we zipped back to the hotel for our first night sleeping in Paris.

I later learned that there was a very rare earthquake in the vicinity of Paris at the very time we were having dinner in Igor’s underground dining room... None of us were surprised. Adventures with the Cassiopaeans are like that.
